Gaia Community cordially invites you to attend the fourth annual Longest Night Ball, a masked ball and exhibition in celebration of the Winter Solstice, on Saturday, December 17th from 9:00 PM until 1:00 AM.

Please join us at:
Shawnee Mission UU Church
7725 W. 87th St.
Overland Park, KS 66212

This year, we are inspired by the fantastic visions of the steampunk movement as we present an evening honoring the delightful rituals of love and affection. Enjoy music, dance, food and entertainment, as well as our midnight pageant celebrating the depth of Winter and the promised return of Spring. This year's ball will also feature a costume contest, with prizes for the best steampunk or Victorian-inspired costume as well as for the best non-Victorian ensemble.

Tea and cakes, non-alcoholic drinks, a tipsy punch, and other delights of the formal tea table will be available at our event this year, as well as a cordial-tasting for donation. Alcohol may be brought and consumed in moderation by guests. Because of this and the lateness of the event's schedule, we must require that all guests at the ball be at least 18 years of age (and of course 21 to drink alcohol). We will gladly hold your keys for you at the check-in table if you ask.
